Animal Science
This programme offers theoretical and practical knowledge of animal production. It focuses on a variety of animal husbandry related areas including livestock management, pasture blocks supervision, and agricultural business services.
Creating competent animal specialists who can provide services in the areas of animal nutrition, basic animal health inspection, animal selection and breeding. Also, the programme aims at increasing the number of local livestock farmers in order to reduce the animal protein-based importation bill by focusing on livestock agro-entrepreneurship.
